Ink Cartridges
Genuine, Compatible, and Remanufactured Ink Cartridges
Ink cartridges are containers that store liquid color pigment that is used in the printing process. Many end-users (home and small business) use the less expensive form of printer and they generally utilize ink cartridges instead of toner.
Genuine OEM ink cartridges are manufactured by the original brand name manufacturer of the printer. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer.
Compatible ink cartridges are manufactured by non-OEM manufacturers but use new parts within the assembled products.
Remanufactured ink cartridges are manufactured using OEM materials that have already been used within the printing process. Remanufactured ink cartridges work and act just like OEM ink units at the fraction of the cost.
