Printer Drums
Genuine, Compatible, and Remanufactured Drum Cartridges
Drum units are metal cylinder or tubes within a printer that carries a static electrical charge to collect and attract toner powder as the toner cartridges apply toner to the paper as it passes through the printer.
Genuine OEM drum cartridges are manufactured by the original brand name manufacturer of the printer. OEM stands for Original Equipment Manufacturer.
Compatible drum cartridges are manufactured by non-OEM manufacturers but use new parts within the assembled products.
Remanufactured drum cartridges are manufactured using OEM materials that have already been used within the printing process. Remanufactured drum units work and act just like OEM drum units at the fraction of the cost.
